From the beginning our Simulator Based Training ideology has centered around a common education philosophy in learning; the building block approach. The development of Standard Process Models was not by accident, it was by design. We believe that Standard Process Models are the building blocks to a more complete training solution. It was quickly realized by our clients that plant personnel trained on Standard Process Models progressed quicker and with greater results than those who began solely with Custom Process Models. Because of this, we continually build upon our already large library consisting of more than 40 Standard Process Models. However, once the foundations have been placed, Custom Process Models become the next logical step in the learning progression.

When advanced training is required to further process knowledge in experienced operators, engineers and technicians, we recommend Custom Process Models. Development begins by analyzing actual process data, heat and material balance information, pump and compressor curves, and feed stock characteristics to dynamically reproduce a realistic, high fidelity process model. When complete, these models present an opportunity to train on site specific start ups, shutdowns, emergency response, control system operability, hazardous analysis of key units and procedures validation. All of which are necessary elements of today's tough government regulations.
